What is a DPDT Toggle Switch?
A DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) toggle switch controls two independent circuits simultaneously. Each pole can connect to one of two outputs, providing versatile switching options for complex electrical systems.
Unlike SPST switches that simply turn circuits on or off, DPDT switches enable ON-OFF-ON functions. Ideal for polarity reversal, multiple power paths, or simultaneous control of two separate circuits.
