Ag/Ni(20) electrocontacts have a melt force greater than 20×10-²N for 20% of the material.

The mass variation of Ag/Ni electrical contact materials prepared by SE process with different Ni contents (mass fraction) (10%, 15% and 20%) after 50,000 operations. It can be seen from the figure that the cathode mass of all Ag/Ni electrical contact materials increased and the anode mass decreased under arc operation, with the Ag/Ni(15) electrical contact materials showing the largest change in mass of both cathode and anode. Therefore, the material of Ag/Ni electrical contacts was transferred from the anode to the cathode during the arc erosion process, and the Ag/Ni(15) electrical contact material had the most severe arc erosion.

Three-dimensional macroscopic erosion profiles of Ag/Ni electrical contact materials with different Ni contents (mass fraction) (10%, 15% and 20%) prepared by SE process at 50,000 operations for both cathode and anode electrical contacts. It can be seen from the figure that the arc erosion morphology of Ag/Ni electrical contact material differs with different Ni content. With the increase of Ni content, the surface erosion of Ag/Ni electrical contacts on the cathode and anode is gradually severe, the erosion bump on the surface of the anode contact gradually increases, and the erosion crater on the surface of the cathode contact gradually becomes deeper. Therefore, with the increase of Ni content, the anti-arc erosion performance of Ag/Ni electrical contact material decreases.

The two-dimensional macroscopic arc erosion morphology of Ag/Ni electrical contact materials with different Ni contents (mass fraction) (10%, 15% and 20%) prepared by SE process at 50,000 operations. It can be seen from the figure that under 50,000 arc operations, severe arc erosion spots appear on both cathode and anode surfaces of Ag/Ni electrical contact materials; with the increase of Ni content, the arc erosion spots on both cathode and anode surfaces of Ag/Ni electrical contact materials become larger and larger. Therefore, the anti-arc erosion performance of Ag/Ni electrical contact material decreases with the increase of Ni content
